Wall Drawing#01 consists of two parts: a mural drawing and a video-registration of this drawing. The mural is applied directly to a wall and represents a grid. Instead of functioning as a point of reference from which the (observation) drawing is ordered, this drawing actually stops at the moment of observation.
The video camera registers this moment. The images zoom in and out on the pattern of lines. They are projected on a large screen hanging in the space. The frame of the video image cuts out simple line compositions, but it is as if the camera wants to go beyond those, as if they were a side effect of this new attempt to observe: along and beyond the lines of the drawing, to the pixel background where screen and wall merge.
