The dark room functions as a neutral intermediate and re-defines the outside as a light image projected on a hollow disk. This camera model, built by Floyd Jennings in 1946, consists of a room which presents the outside world by means of a rotating projection (360°). The video camera wanders across the camera obscura image and registers its circular edges, revealing the parabolic construction from which the world is being watched.
